Arcane Fortitude
Your will is not just resistant to magic— it feeds on it.
Prerequisites: Sorcerer, Warlock, or Wizard
Benefits: When you succeed on a saving throw against a spell or magical effect, you gain temporary hit points equal to your Sorcerer, Warlock, or Wizard level + your Constitution modifier (minimum 1). These temporary hit points last for up to 1 minute.
You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Disruptive Presence
Your force of personality rattles both minds and magic, allowing you to manipulate, disrupt, and control the battlefield.
Prerequisites: Level 5+; Sorcerer, Warlock, or Wizard
Benefits:
-
You gain proficiency in Arcana. If you are already proficient, you gain Expertise instead.
-
Once per short rest, when a creature you can see and that can hear you begins casting a spell, you can use your reaction to speak a disrupting word of power. That creature must succeed on an Intelligence saving throw against your spell save DC or the spell fails and is lost.
Eldritch Backlash
Your pact responds to pain with a jolt of arcane force, lashing out in reflexive defense.
Prerequisites: Warlock
Benefits: When a creature you can see damages you with an attack or spell and is within 30 ft., you can use your reaction to channel a retaliatory burst of force. The creature must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your Warlock spell save DC or suffer one of the following effects of your choice:
-
It takes force damage equal to your Charisma modifier + one half your Warlock level.
-
It has disadvantage on the next attack roll or saving throw it makes before the end of its next turn.
On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and suffers no additional effects. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Eldritch Blastchain
You've mastered the timing and flow of your pact magic, allowing you to strike with spell and blast in the same breath.
Prerequisites: Level 5+, Warlock
Benefits:
-
Increase your Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
-
When you cast a Warlock spell using a Pact Magic slot, you can immediately cast eldritch blast as a bonus action on the same turn. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Eldritch Claws
You can twist your eldritch magic into savage claws for close-quarters combat.
Prerequisites: Warlock, know the eldritch blast cantrip
Benefits: When casting eldritch blast, you can shape the blast to strike in melee. Until the end of the current turn, each attack made by your eldritch blast becomes a melee spell attack instead of a ranged spell attack. You use your Charisma modifier for attack and damage rolls as normal.
When you cast eldritch blast this turn, you make a separate melee spell attack for each beam you would normally fire. Each attack deals force damage as normal. This use of eldritch blast counts as a melee spell attack but does not benefit from extra attack or other weapon features.
Extra Invocation
You've deepened your understanding of your patron's gifts, expanding the range of arcane secrets you can channel.
Prerequisites: Level 5+, Warlock
Benefits:
-
Increase your Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
-
You learn one additional eldritch invocation for which you meet the prerequisites. This invocation does not count against your number of invocations known. Whenever you gain a level in the Warlock class, you may choose to replace the invocation granted by this feat with another invocation you could choose at that level.
Extra Spells Known
You've expanded your magical repertoire beyond its normal limits.
Prerequisites: Level 5+; Bard, Sorcerer, or Warlock
Benefits: You learn two additional spells of your choice from your class's spell list. The highest level of spell you can learn through this feat is one level less than the highest level you can cast.
Fell Surge
Your killing curse lingers. When you fell a creature with your patron's power, the surge fuels further destruction.
Prerequisites: Level 5+, Warlock, know the eldritch blast cantrip
Benefits: When you reduce a creature to 0 hit points on your turn using eldritch blast, you can immediately cast a warlock cantrip or a 1st-level warlock spell that targets a single creature. The spell must have a casting time of 1 action and cannot affect an area.
You cast the spell as a bonus action using a Pact Magic spell slot, and it must be cast immediately after the triggering blast. You can use this feature once per short or long rest.
Starting at 11th level, you can cast a 1st- or 2nd-level Warlock spell this way. Starting at 17th level, you can cast a 1st-, 2nd-, or 3rd-level warlock spell this way.
Fortune's Rebound
Your patron's power lashes back when your magic fails, twisting ill fortune to good fortune.
Prerequisites: Warlock
Benefits: When you cast a Warlock spell that targets a creature and the creature avoids all effects (such as by succeeding on a saving throw or because you miss), you can draw upon the latent arcane backlash to gain advantage on your next attack roll, check, or save before the end of your next turn.<p>You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Occult Familiarity
You've bound lesser entities or spiritual echoes to aid your magical perception. You gain the following benefits:
Prerequisites: Warlock; Pact of the Tome feature or Pact of the Blade feature
Benefits:
-
Increase your Charisma score by 1, to a maximum of 20.
-
You gain proficiency in Arcana. If you're already proficient, you instead gain Expertise in Arcana.
-
You learn the find familiar spell and can cast it as a ritual. It counts as a warlock spell for you, but doesn't count against your spells known.
Potent Cantrips
Your innate magic flows through your most basic spells with exceptional force.
Prerequisites: Sorcerer, Warlock, or Wizard
Benefits: When you cast a cantrip that deals damage, you can add your Charisma modifier to each damage roll of the cantrip.
Timestealer
You strike with supernatural precision when foes are most vulnerable, destabilizing them before they can react.
Prerequisites: Level 5+, Warlock
Benefits: Once per short or long rest, when you deal damage to a creature with a warlock spell or a melee attack using your Pact Blade, and that creature has not yet taken its turn in the current combat, you can choose to warp it in time.
Until the end of your next turn, it is affected by temporal disruption:
-
Its speed is halved.
-
It takes a -2 penalty to AC and Dexterity saving throws.
-
It can't use a reaction or take a bonus action.
-
On its turn, it can take move or take an action, not both, and it can make at most one attack roll.
